This year, a lifelong dream of mine is finally coming true—I’m going to Art Basel Miami Beach for the very first time! I can hardly put into words how excited I am to immerse myself in the art world, be part of the incredible energy, and experience one of the most renowned art fairs firsthand. Art Basel has always been a dream destination for me, and the thought of being surrounded by creativity, inspiration, and like-minded art lovers feels surreal.
Another dream of mine? To one day showcase my own art at Art Basel. Just imagining one of my pieces hanging in such a prestigious setting gives me chills! Maybe it’ll happen sooner than I think—who knows? But that’s the thing about dreams: you never know when they’ll become reality until you start making moves toward them.
Whether it’s a bucket list item, a hobby, or something you’ve always thought, “Wow, wouldn’t it be amazing to do that one day?”—I’m here to remind you that those dreams are worth chasing.
How I Started Turning Dreams Into Reality? 🌙Back in 2018, after moving home to the Bay Area, I decided it was time to tackle the hobbies and goals I’d always dreamed of trying. One of my first bucket list items? Horseback riding lessons. I’d dreamed about it for years, and by putting the intention out there, I found a coworker who connected me with an instructor.
I didn’t stop there. I tried yoga, attended sound baths, and explored activities I’d always been curious about. Some stuck, others didn’t, but the process of trying was transformative.
Running was another dream that became a huge part of my life. In high school, I thought it’d be cool to run a half marathon someday, but I doubted whether I could ever do it. After a few years of wondering, I started small: 5Ks, then 10Ks, and eventually, I ran my first half marathon. That milestone gave me the confidence to tackle a full marathon. From there, I discovered trail running, made lifelong friends, and even had the incredible opportunity to pace a friend during the Javelina 100.
How does this relate to art? 🖼️ For me, art isn’t just about creating something beautiful—it’s about channeling positivity, manifesting dreams, and celebrating the moments that matter, both big and small. Every painting I create is a reminder to hold on to hope, take action toward your goals, and savor the memories you create with others.
What About You? What’s a dream or hobby you’ve always wanted to pursue? Have you ever tried something that turned out to be a wonderful, unexpected adventure?
Whether it’s traveling, starting a new hobby, running a race, or trying something completely out of your comfort zone, I’d love to know your story. Share it below—I’m always inspired by the amazing things others are manifesting in their lives.
And if you’re still on the fence about going after a dream, consider this your sign to go for it. As I prepare to step into the vibrant world of Art Basel for the first time, I’m reminded that dreams are closer than we think when we put positivity and energy behind them.
Here’s to chasing dreams, creating memories, and making life a little more extraordinary!✨
