I’m excited to share that my painting, Setting Sun, has been accepted into the 2025 PBS KVIE Art Auction! This marks my second year being part of this juried art event, and it feels just as special as the first time. Last year, my painting Clear Waters not only sold but also won a Juror’s Award, which was such an honor. Excited to share that my painting will be shown at BREAK 36 – Landscapes on 10/5/2025 at 2:30 PM!
Setting Sun was inspired by one of those unforgettable Indian summer nights I shared with my sister. We were driving back from the city with the windows down after a hot day. The air was electric, and as the cool breeze rolled in from the bay, everything felt alive and revitalizing. The radio was blasting, we were singing at the top of our lungs, and it turned into one of those rare, magic moments I’ll never forget.
Setting Sun captures that feeling — a vibrant sunset on water, glowing with deep reds and warm tones, both electrifying and calm. The painting is oil and acrylic on canvas, measures 30” x 24”, and is framed in a beautiful black floating frame, ready to hang and bring warmth and energy to any space.

- People’s Choice Award: Voting opens September 16. You can cast your vote online for your favorite artwork (I’d be so grateful for your support!). The winner will be announced live during the auction.
