I'm thrilled to share that my oil painting, "Opportune," has been selected for the Fremont's 56th Annual Juried Art Show happening from April 5th to April 28th, 2024. The juror this year is Steve Curl who is an award-winning fine artist, illustrator, caricaturist, and editorial cartoonist who resides in Palo Alto, California. His current fine art focus is the landscape in the medium of watercolor. Most of his paintings are derived from his travels and hiking/backpacking trips in the High Sierra, Yosemite, the Colorado Rockies, and the local Bay Area foothills. Steve has been teaching Watercolor Painting since 1990 at the Pacific Art League where he has a regular following of students, and has earned the "Teacher of the Year" award
several times. He also has taught at the Community School of Music & Art, the Palo Alto Art Center, and in the International Elderhostel Organization, (now called Road Scholar). He shows continually at the Portola Art Gallery at Allied Arts Guild in Menlo Park. Steve’s work can be seen on his website at www.stevecurl.com.
